Trafó

Luckily, Trafó has a wide variety of English-friendly productions due to their performances either being multilingual or language not being that much in the foreground. You can browse their repertoire of English-friendly performances here.

Recirquel Company

When it comes to unrestrained accessibility and the suspension of language barriers, make sure to look for physical theatre. Our recommendation here is the cirque danse productions of the Recirquel Company housed by Müpa.

Theatre festivals and guest performances also provide a great opportunity for both locals and foreigners, since these productions are usually designed in such a way so as to ensure inclusivity for diverse audiences. In 2025 make sure to look out for:

12. Madách International Theatre Meeting between the 25th of April and the 25th of May.

3. Performance Now! Festival between the 8th and 9th of February.

Slava’s Snowshow at the National Theatre between the 30th of May and the the 8th of June, except for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of June.
